After completing a registration when I view attendees in the admin section I see PayPal as the payment type but status is still incomplete. It is also showing as incomplete in the payment status on the Thank You page. BUT when I look in the merchants Business Paypal account I see that the payment has happened…and it has also gone out from the purchasers account. How can I resolve this?

Hi Shane,

In this case, it looks like a second transactions page has been set up on your site, did the original one find its way into the trash?

http://petersed.com/transactions-2/

So there might be a redirection issue. What I would do is create a new IPN listener page with a name like “IPNListener”, then put the [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] shortcode on that page, publish it, and change the Notify URL page setting in Event Espresso>General Settings>Page Settings to use that new page.

Then I’d recommend going down this list:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-event-espresso/#gateways

In addition, you’ll likely benefit from installing the simplified transactions page template:

You can use this template on your new IPN listener page.
