We have used EE and Paypal for our registrations and payments for the past couple years and up until the past couple months it has worked great. Now, however, when I download the payment history from Paypal, it no longer displays the event name for each payment; instead it just says “Shopping Cart” under “Type”. I’m assuming this has something to do with an Event Espresso update, but don’t really know how to fix it. Any suggestions?
When did you update, and which version did you update to?
It may be that there are older template and/or gateway files in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/, which are not compatible with the new version of Event Espresso.
You can rule out any issues with having older templates by renaming the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates and /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateway folders if there are older files there. You may also need to deactivate and reactivate the PayPal gateway to make sure it’s loading up the current version of the gateway.
We’ve done two updates in the past couple months. The most recent one was to version 3.1.27P. We updated to that version about a month and a half ago, I think.
