Hello

I’m having multiple errors reported from people attempting to register and pay for event using PayPal. They continually get errors when coming back to the site. When I went into debug/sandbox mode, I was able to register and pay through paypal site but upon returning to site, the EE report listed my payment as incomplete.

On the backend, EE listed my sandbox registration as completed and paid.

I’ve got s2member and gravity forms installed as well. I think it may have to do with IPN or auto return settings. Not sure.

I have debug logs from EE if needed. Any insight is appreciated, especially in regards to IPN and auto returns settings for PayPal account, as multiple plugins (EE, s2member) offer a setting for that yet PayPal has only one slot for it.

Hi Chris,

The first thing I can suggest is to install the simplified notify payment page /transactions page template which can be downloaded here:

I will look into the Transactions Page Template.

Forgive me, I neglected to mention that the site is running with Varnish caching. Could this be causing problems?

Where can I find a complete list of pages to be excluded from caching? I could not find one in the support, perhaps I missed it.

Thanks
Chris Weagel

You should exclude the four main EE pages that you have selected in the EE->General Settings->Page Settings.
