Paypal and Incomplete Payments

Hi,
Still really new to all this so need some help with the basics: I created a new email address called “payment@goldcoastsewingclasses.com” as prompted by EE when I was setting it up. Several bookings have been made but:
-on my EE dashboard it says ‘payment incomplete’. Is it incomplete on my end or with paypal?
-where in paypal do I login and access the funds? Do I created a new paypal account? Obviously my current paypal account is under a different email address, so they’re not linked, I guess?

Hey Sonja,
To receive funds through paypal as an online merchant, you must have either a Merchant or Pro account with paypal. The email that you use to set up the account at paypal.com is the email address that you will want to use in the Event Espresso payment settings under paypal settings.

Hi, okay thanks for the help…BUT the new email was created without that PayPal account actually existing! The prompt from EE didn’t say that I had to have an existing account with that email address! Do you know if I create that account with PayPal now, that they will link? Cheers

Hi,
I just added the new email address to my paypal account, and they linked automatically! Thanks for your help…
