Hi,

Since yesterday we’ve not been able accept payments for classes. I tried to register for one myself and payment didn’t go through. When I click the button to submit payment, it looks like everything is working but then I get a Pending Payment status and icon.

We haven’t changed anything or added any plugins that have conflicted with it. I did update the plugin yesterday to the latest version but was still having the same problem.

WordPress and the EE plugins are all up-to-date.

Here’s a link to the class I tried to register for:
https://gwinnettehc.org/event-registration-2/?ee=723

Please help, thanks!

Hi,

Have you double checked that the PayPal Pro settings are correct?

Hi Gabriele,

Does the payment attempt get posted in the PayPal account?

Payment’s not being posted to our PayPal account.

Hi Gabriele,

I ran a registration test and there are some script errors on the page that are not allowing the payment form to be submitted. I’m not sure what they are being caused by. Can you try a quick registration test will all of the other plugins deactivated? This will help narrow down the issue.

Also, another thing to check is the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways folder. Please make sure there are no files in that location.

I deactivated all plugins except the EE plugins. Still showing as pending.

There are tons of files in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways folder.

If I recall correctly, it was a solution to an old question I posted a long time ago. Should I delete all of them?

Hi Gabriele,

It’s likely this one:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/double-charging-in-paypal-payments-pro/

So this changes things a bit. It should be verified whether it’s the custom paypal files or not. You can verify this by following these steps in order:

1) Deactivate the PayPal Pro gateway
2) FTP in to your server and rename /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways-old
3) Refresh the Event Espresso>Payment settings page
4) Reactivate the PayPal Pro gateway
5) Test a registration
