Besides credit card processing fees, are there any additional fees charged to the event organizer (me) or the new registrant when registering for one of my events?

Hi Nick,

Event Espresso does not charge any fees for events, just the yearly licence fee for support and updates, the purpose of the software is to take your events into your own control and not have to pay extra fees, like with Eventbrite for example.

As such generally the only fee you will encounter is card processing fees, which are resolved by the card processor that you choose.

You can set up events to add a surcharge the the ticket cost should you need to add extra on for tax/card processing/fees/etc.
