Using Paypal Pro. No record in Paypal Pro history. No payment received. Yet EE shows this as a completed Payment Status.

Payment Details shows in red Total Amount Owing: $5.00 Total Amount Paid to Date $0.00

Also in the Attendee Reports Page, the Type is Blank.

Hi Kara,

Have you checked the Default Payment Status for Event in the individual event and the Default Payment Status setting in the General settings? If neither one of these is marked as completed, then is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via http://staging.eventespresso.com/contact/

Choose the “I am sending login info as requested” option and fill out the form

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

Hi Kara,

We’ll need a few additional details about what you’re seeing. I ran a quick test registration, and did not pay, and the payment status is set as incomplete. All of the other recent attendee records also show an incomplete payment status.

Based on what I’m seeing in the admin, I can make a few recommendations that may help:

1) Please set the “Upcoming Events” page to force HTTPs, this is the page that sends PayPal Pro the cc info and should be secured.

2) Please unset “Force HTTPs on return URL” in the Event Espresso>Payment settings under “PayPal Pro settings”. The return URL is already set to force HTTPs using the Https plugin. This may cause too many redirects if both settings are set this way.

3) Please try disabling the sharing buttons on the “Upcoming Events” page. These may not be loading securely, and may be affecting the registration process.

Thank you. I will try this and let you know.
