When I click on the Payment Settings tab within wp I get the following error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_enqueue_media() in /home/kohara/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-free/includes/functions/admin.php on line 18

Any thoughts?

Richard

Hi,

Is your WordPress version older than 3.5.0?

What version of Event Espresso are you using? Does the error completely stop the Payment Settings from working?

No it’s not, this site is using WordPress 3.3.1.

Event Espresso is 3.1.35.L

The payment settings that is generating the error is from the backend within wp-admin.

Hi Richard,

v3.3.1 is older than v3.5.0 (3.7.1 being the latest currently)

wp_enqueue_media was added to WordPress 3.5.0+ therefor your current version does not have that function.

I would recommend updating to the latest version of WordPress, although please bear in mind 3.3.1 was released in Jan 2012 and WP has had many improvements/bugfixes since then. This may mean that currently working plugins/themes will no longer work with the latest version (unless updated if available) unfortunately this is not something we can control.

Please ensure you have a full site backup (both the database and files) beforehand using the guide posted HERE before updating.
