I just installed 3.1.29.1P, and while it’s working swimmingly, I’ve noticed that now on the payment page, there is a “Pay By Credit Card” image that only reveals the payment information upon clicking. I ONLY use my credit card payment processor, not PayPal or anything else, so is there a way to get rid of this so my payment information shows up normally, like how it used to? It’s bad design otherwise.
Editing the aim_vars.php (my payment gateway), and gateway_display.php, in addition to some display: none’s put in my stylesheet, i was able to fix this, but it seems kind of silly to me that if I have one gateway selected, that there’s an option for my other non-existent ones. This should be an option in the settings so I don’t have to go screw around with my core files anymore than I already have.
Thanks for the feedback. There has been some internal discussion about this since this was changed in Event Espresso 3.1.28.P and there is an open ticket to add an option to automatically show the onsite cc payment forms and hide the payment button.
Please, please change it. it’s just bad design otherwise. Why show multiple options if there ARE no multiple options?
thanks, love event espresso!
