I am looking for a solution for participant tracking/mgmt – ideally as a front end.
I am running courses of 6-10 classes per series. I would like to have an overview front end (table format) with all the Participants in a column and the dates of the classes as additional columns.
The teachers of the classes should have the possibility to
– mark whether participants are present or missing in the class (in the long run I would like to implement an individual check-in by the participants (barcode)
– mark future absences of a participant (ideally participants should be able to notify absences on their own through their individual user account.
The whole mess is du to the nature of the classes (partner dance) and the school is making a big effort to balance the the woman/man ratio by calling extra-participants if needed.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Has this been requested before / anything in development?
There is certainly nothing in development similar to this, and I haven’t seen anything requested that matches this need exactly.
I would suggest contacting one of our recommended developers to look into this further as to me this sounds like a whole new add on plugin – somewhere between WP User Integration, and the admin dashboard.
