It appears I can process the transaction, but the e.g. $1 partial payment doesn’t appear on the thank you page once returned, and it doesn’t update on the attendee details on the database.
Is this something someone could help out with please? or do you advise to stay away from partial payments?
The partial payments system you linked to is not perfect, and is bolt on code by one of the developers. Like other code we supply, it is intended to be a base point for users to work from rather than fully fledged feature.
Personally, I would say avoid partial payments, unless you are happy to dig into the code and work with it to achieve what you need.
My client has a 30 min support token already purchased, would Sidney Harrell be able to get the partial payments working from his original code supplied? More support tokens required?
Or, do you really advise to avoid the partial payment set up, as this is a huge event of potentially 1000’s of attendees and if its not 100% perfect then it could turn into a disaster to administer?
I’d have to run it by Sidney, I’ll ask him to respond to the forum thread.
