We are looking to purchase the Business License to use for our event registration. We are interested in the WP-User Integration. We want to be able to have a paid membership that would receive discounts for events. We are also using WooCommerce to sell apparel. We don’t want the uses that come to the site and buy apparel (which also adds a WP user to the database) to get the discount on events.

Will WP-User Integration allow us to keep the two types of registrations separate?

We have an S2 membership integration add-on that works with the S2 membership plugin and our WP-User integration add-on to allow you to apply the member discount to paid members, but not to non-paid members.
