When I enter tickets on the backend and then look at the actual page itself the order gets mixed up. How can I get the tickets to display in the same order I entered them?

Hello,

Event Espresso 4.2 which is available in the prerelease channel supports drag and drop sorting:

Lorenzo,

It says not to use pre-release on a live site…..is this a flaw in the software? If my back end looks like this:

ticket 1
ticket 2
ticket 3

why on the front end does it convert to

ticket 3
ticket 1
ticket 2

as an example.

Also, can you tell me when discount codes will be added to version 4?

The order may not match in the current beta release. We’ve seen reports of it appearing in the reverse order as what is shown in the backend.

I do not have an estimate on when discount codes will be available.

It’s not exactly reversed…it is just jumbled. If I install version 4.2 in the pre-release, do I have to deactivate the prior version? What do you suggest I do here as it is important the tickets appear in the proper order.

You would need to deactivate and remove the old version through your WordPress admin. Then install and activate the new version through WordPress plugins.

Be sure to backup your WordPress before making any changes.
