We have this Active event here which is NOT showing in the back end of the software under my open events. It does show when we filter ALL events active/inactive – is this because it has NO start date? It is an ongoing custom scheduled event and will never have a start date – how do I make it show on the backed under Active events?
You are correct. The event will not show as OPEN if it doesn’t have a start date. The system was not designed to display events without start dates as OPEN events.
It appears that you might need to use the Recurring Event Manager. Have you looked into it? It allows you to set events that will recur on auto-pilot.
The event without a date shows on on webpage but doesnt show in the back-end admin under OPEN events – this is an ongoing event never diaplys a date but is used for people to pay and register – is there a way to display it on the backend under the open events?
You can do this in the event set up. Just change Event Status (on the righthand side) to Ongoing.
