Please forgive me if this question seems obtuse:

What is the difference between onsite and offsite payment processing?
I want to use Beanstream as a processor. It is listed in the gateway page but only as onsite.
There seems to have been successfully implemented and I would like to make sure before I go down this road.

Thank you

Hi Josh,

An onsite gateway means that the customer completes the entire transaction without leaving your website.

Could you please take a look at this page:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/accept-payments-event-espresso/

Do let me know if anything is confusing.

Cheers

Lorenzo
