Number of tickets purchased shortcode in email

I need to display in the email receipt how many tickets the buyer has purchased.  Has the shortcode for this been created?

Hi Jason,

Yes, you can use the [ticket_qty] email tag to display the number of tickets.

Hello,  I have used the
[ticket_qty] shortcode in my email confirmation but it simply prints [ticket_qty] instead of the # of tickets purchased. I have the ticketing addon enabled. Can you help?

Hi Jason,

Can you check on a few things:

Which version of Event Espresso and the ticketing add-on are installed?

When you go to the edit the email, is it in Visual mode or text mode?

This information will help us investigate what’s going wrong.

My version of the Ticketing add-on is 2.0.9

I have entered the shortcode in Text mode.  It looks like the other shortcodes in the email but is not functioning.
