Not talking to Beanstream

Hi there. We have just started using EE and are having serious issues connecting to Beanstream. We definitely have our Merchant ID correct, although the system continues to warn that we need a valid SSL. We have just installed one earlier today. Could this be the problem? I contacted Beanstream and they are not even receiving our requests for authorization.

Hi James,

I did some checking on this site and it appears that the jQuery library is being loaded twice. Since the Beanstream payment form uses jQuery to validate the payment form there may be a conflict here.

The quick way to rule out whether this is the cause of the issue is to install the theme test drive plugin and run the same test with the default WordPress theme set for testing.

Hey Josh. Thanks for the suggestion. No dice with this test as the payment still did not go through. Any other suggestions?

Hi James,

Further to Josh’s point about jQuery, you have numerous jQuery errors appearing on your site. I counted 7. As such if you can get the jQuery errors resolved it may well sort the problem out.
