After users complete the registration form, they are presented with the option to confirm registration and pay. However, instead of being redirected to paypal, they are sent back to the registration page and it says thank you.

Hi there,

Can you post a link to the registration page where this is happening?

Hi there,

Can you try temporarily switching to the either of the default WordPress themes (twentyeleven or twentytwelve) so we can narrow down the issue? Thanks.

Please note, you can switch this as an admin so that logged out viewers of the site will still see the active theme. The theme test drive plugin makes this possible.

I have made the switch.

Thanks for doing that. If you run a test registration, you’ll notice that with the default theme it takes you to a payment overview page now where you can go to PayPal. Please note that you’ll need to update the PayPal button URL setting in the Event Espresso>Payment Settings. It should be:

http://mlk.charlottevibe.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/paypal/btn_stdCheckout2.gif

You may be able to wrap the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode in the [raw] short tag if your other theme is removing the WordPress autoformating function. Can you try wrapping the shortcode on the /parade-application page with the [raw] short tag?

It will look like this:
[raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]
