I installed the newest version Event Espresso (version 3.1.35.2.P) on my clients site. My issue is that I am not receiving admin notification emails when someone signs up for an event. Confirmation emails are going out fine for the test registrations I’ve done, but there is no notification being received by the primary contact email. I’ve followed suggestions I’ve found throughout the forums, such as disabling other plugins and trying out different emails for the primary contact, and nothing is working. The emails are not going into a spam folder either. This really needs to be fixed ASAP, any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

WordPress version: 3.7.1
Event Espresso version: 3.1.35.2.P
Event Espresso JSON API version: 2.0.4.p
Event Espresso Calendar version: 2.0.6.3
Registration link to a test event: http://www.mariancourt.edu/event-registration/?ee=14

Hi Brian,

The ‘primary contact email’ is that within Event Espresso -> General settings?

Does it also match the ‘E-mail Address’ within Wp-Admin-> Settings -> General? (not a requirement, just narrowing down the issue)

Is there anything within the ‘Alternate Email Address’ in the event settings (Event Overview -> edit the event in questions -> Event options sidebar)

Thank you for getting back to me.

Yes, I was referring to the ‘primary contact email’ within the Event Espresso General Settings. This does not currently match the WP settings, but I’ve tried various emails including the one I have set in the WP settings.

There is not an alternate email address for the event right now, but I have tried one out there as well.

Has there been any modifications to EE core functions?

Is it possible for us to take a look and investigate further? Is so please send log in details using http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

Its strange in that the confirmation emails are sent but not the admin emails.

Hi Brian,

I’ve seen it happen where it was from the mail server being blacklisted by the ISP. One thing that seems to help in a lot of email delivery trouble cases is use a plugin like WP Mail SMTP and route the email via a gmail account instead of the built in mail server.

Thank you for your help! It turns out it was an issue with the server and I’m using your suggested plugin to work around it.
