I just setup EE4 on our site:

https://www.watchmanmonitoring.com/

but when I got to https://www.watchmanmonitoring.com/events/business-development-session-saturday-march-29th/ there are no calendar controls.

I can’t tell if it’s somehting with theme, or if I missed a setup step.

Ideas?

Hi,

Have you translated the plugin at all, even just to change English to English terms?

Hi! No, I simply installed EE4 and started playing.

I can see the register button here:

Hi,

Unrelated to your issue but as you are using W3 Total Cache you will need to exclude Event Espresso’s pages from caching.

With W3 Total Cache you do this via Performance -> Page Cache.

Find the option ‘Never cache the following pages:’ and input:

/events/
/registration-checkout/
/transactions/
/thank-you/
/registration-cancelled/

There, then save the options and rebuild (empty) the caches.

Regarding the ticket selector not being displayed, could you temporarily disable all Non-EE plugins, flush the permalinks (go to Settings -> Permalinks, make no changes and click Save) and then reload the single event page please, is it now displaying the ticket selector?

If it is, activate each plugin one by one and reload the single event page each time to find which plugin is causing this so we can investigate further.

If not also try temporarily switching to one of the default themes such as twenty-fourteen to see if that resolves it. You can also do this using a plugin called Theme Test Drive so that you do not need to actually switch the theme over to check.

Hey – I’m back from a trip.

I need google calendar functionality, so will be downgrading to try EE3.

You can close this ticket.
