Hi,

I’m so sorry to bombard the support forum today. I promised I’d have the site live yesterday. I never imagined it would be so complicated to set this up.

I’ve actually left a support request with my theme developer but they take a few days to respond so I thought you might know what I’m doing wrong here.

When I insert the Calendar into a page on my site the page isn’t expanding to fit the content. Instead I am getting a narrow window with a scrollbar between the header and footer. I’ve attached a link below to the screenshot.

Have you come across this before?

Many thanks,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

Without seeing the code I would guess the shortcode is wrapped within Pre tags.

If you edit the page, switch the editor to Text mode, can you see pre tags around the Calendar shortcode? Is so, remove those update the event and re-test.

You’re correct! It was preformatted. Now fixed! Thanks. The Calendar doesn’t support MER does it? I don’t see any option to add to cart…

Thanks again,
Rachel

Hi Clare,

While the calendar doesn’t automatically display an add to cart links for each event that is displayed on the calender, there is a workaround.

If you place [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK] within the event’s description, then enable tooltips in the calendar’s settings it will display an add to cart link in the calendar tooltip.

Thanks Josh! I’ll give that a go!

It didn’t work… might it be something to do with fitting it into the space? If I make the font smaller with CSS?

Do you have tooltips enabled in the calendar settings?

Yes – it shows up as a box with Event Title, Register, Event time and a Register Button. I checked the settings also and it’s set to yes.

Hi Clare,

Can you post a link to the calendar page so we can take a look?

Thanks Josh,

I have the site in maintenance mode right now. I’ll probably go live with it tonight and come back to the bookings section afterwards.
