Hi There,

The Roles and Permissions Basic add-on only creates one user role, which is the Espresso Master Admin. In order to have other roles, you will need the Roles and Permissions Pro add-on. It adds the Event Manager and Regional Manager roles.

The Espresso Master Admin role is also referred to as the Event Admin in the EE->User Permissions admin page.
