I would like to convert our event calendar over to Event Esspresso, but I dont want to lose all our past events which used the Event Calendar with Eventbrite plugin from Modern Tribe. I can export data either from the Event Calendar from modern Tribe, or from Eventbrite, but is there a way to upload this content into Event Espresso?

This might be possible by using our event importer. I have not seen what the EventBrite or Event Calendar export files look like, but if they can be opened in excel there may be a way to re-format the data so it could be imported into Event Espresso.
How are the exports from either of the two formated?
As Josh mentioned it depends on how the data is formatted. If you go to the Event Overview and click Import Events, it will take you onto a new page. On there in the text is a link to a sample csv file which will show you how the data needs to be imported.
We have no scripts or automated systems to import direct from other plugins or systems.
