I’ve google and searched this forum for a way to show a list of attendees in separate lists for each event. I tried using variables to kind of force EventEspresso to show me a list of attendees in two events, using their event ID’s.

No matter what I do, it will only show me the list of the latest event created. Even if I write unique ID’s for the variable, it still shows the list of the latest created event.

I’m currently on 3.1.20.2.P

Hello,

You could use the [LISTATTENDEE] shortcode http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#attendee-list

I cannot advise this shortcode worked in that version of event espresso as it is really quite old.

I would advise you to do a back up of your site/database and update to the most recent version of Event Espresso.

Well that’s the problem. [LISTATTENDEE] shows only the latest event created, not all events as I would expect. Even if I try to use things like [LISTATTENDEES event_identifier=”your_event_identifier”], it still shows only the latest event, none of the others.

I’ll make a local installation with MAMP to test further.

But are you saying that you’re not supporting the LISTATTENDEE shortcode since it’s so old ?

I had no problem making it work offline on a local MAMP installation. So I tried again online. I deleted the page and made a new with a completely different name. Still nothing.

So I switched to TEXT mode instead of rich text editing. Manually wrote [LISTATTENDEES] and tried the different variables. Somehow, that worked.

But copy/pasting from the documentation on your site did not. Weird!

But it’s all good. Everything is working now.

And sorry for the title, I don’t know what happened. I had originally written “LISTATTENDEES not working” or something.

Hi,

Glad you got it working, it could have been like copying and pasting from word which sometimes messes things up.

I would still advise you to update the Event Espresso plugin.
