As we build our registration forms, is there a way to view the form even if the event is not open for registration?

Thanks in advance

Hello There,

If you change the Event Status to Draft, you will be able to see the forms even if the event is not open yet. Look in the right sidebar of the event setup about halfway down the page.

Hope this helps.

Ah! Thanks Jonathan.
I changed the event to draft, logged out, went to the site front end – it displays the form publicly with DRAFT text….
is there a way to PREVIEW the form but not publish the preview?

thanks in advance.

Hello again,

Sorry, but this is a known issue that we are working on to fix. I’m not sure of an ETA for the fix. I’ll need to check with our developers.

Ok, thank you, Jonathan. Any follow up would be great.

@mcss It’s not possible, currently, to preview an event and it’s not likely to be added in 3.1.x. We may be able to add it after 3.2 is complete. We understand and acknowledge that this is important functionality and it’s definitely something we want to add but we don’t have the resources to get it added into the plugin anytime sooner.
