I have a recurring event (over 2 weeks) and I have applied the instructions from the forum to use an alternate registration page in the second event so that they only sign up once for the 2 week class — problem is with the Calendar — the event falls under 2 categories, once which I do not apply a color to (so I set the color picker for that category to “no”) and the other I apply a color. What happens is strange — in the first occurrence of the event on the calendar — there is no color and the second instance is colored — is this a bug??

Hi,

I am assuming these events are both using the same categories?

The events colour will always be from the first category selected in the list, it isn’t a bug as such, but the way it works currently.

The tests I did locally, the only colour change between the events was when an event had already passed, which is standard.

Yes – they are both using the SAME categories, but each of the events dates come up as DIFFERENT colors in the calendar — that’s what’s so weird. For example a recurring event on April 13th and April 20th, same categories for both — April 13 displays as beige, April 20 displays as blue.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.
