Which add-ons in Event Espresso do I need to buy in order to sell variations of multiple items for one event? for example: adult race entry, t-shirt, banquet dinner etc…
That kind of depends on how you want it to function.
Do you want to set limits on the quantity of t-shirts or dinner tickets you sell? If you do, I’d setup each item that you want to control the seating limit as its own event. That way you can control how many you sell.
If you don’t need to control the limits, then you could add those items to the price of the ticket.
A third option, which is not publicly available yet, is we have a question-price-modifier tool that one of our developers made for a customer that might meet your needs. It allows you to create questions that can modify the total price of a registration. It’s kind of rough around the edges but we might be able to get it to you to test (if another option doesn’t work).
I don’t care about limits (can always add an extra burger to dinner), but want to be able to add on to the base price-I don’t see how Option 1 does this.
Your option 2, which is what I did last year with Event Espresso, presents too many ticket options (think: 1 race entry + 1 extra banquet OR 1 race entry + 1 tshirt OR 1 race entry + 2 extra banquet OR 1 race entry + 1 tshirt + 1 banquet and so on…)
Option 3 is what I am looking for-this will give customers the most flexibility in purchases. It looks like some other of your clients are looking for type of option as well so hopefully we can get your test version to work!
I’m doing some testing on the price-modifier plugin and having some issues, I’ll try to get them sorted out and get you a copy….
