Hi,

I have input the Merchant ID and Shared Secret and yes the payment amount is displayed on the registrants form – BUT at no stage does it attempt to connect to RealEx to process the payment.

Instead it goes from:

$ the registration form page (http://www.intolearning.ie/event-registration/?ee=7) to
$ 'Verify Registration' (with button [Confirm Registration] at bottom of page) to
$ the event summary page

I know there must be something missing, like the Response URL – but I don’t know where to go from here. I’ve read the forums, the basic docs on payments, but am stuck.

Has anyone got basic docs or a step-by-step on how to enable RealEx / RealAuth plugin?

thanks for any help – I’ve been trying this for a few days now :(

Hi there,

In addition to adding the Merchant ID and Shared secret, you will need to contact Realex support and give them a response URL (which is the page on your site with the [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] shortcode. By default, its the page set as the notify URL in the Event Espresso>General Settings.

I recommend this documentation for additional info, there is a checklist on page 5 that may help you get up and running:
