    Hello,

I’m trying to activate my chosen payment gate of QuickBooks (Intuit) with no luck. After following the link below and successfully logging in to Intuit, I cannot find any “connection ticket” to cut and paste back into EE to activate said payment gate. Can someone please check on this? Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

      Hi Ronald,

Did you sign up for a Merchant services account here first?

          Hey Dean,

Thanks for the check back. I am in the midst of testing the Intuit payment gateway. Looks like credit card payment is “the” option for payment. Is Intuit’s ACH option available to us as well via EE? That would really be great if possible as it would give people the option to pay via check/bank-to-bank transfer and forgo any transaction fees on their end. Intuit is known for this.

          https://ipn.intuit.com/

Also testing the pay by Check/Money Order option, and with a Pending status, it counts against the total number of available spaces (reducing the available space count), which is correct and works fine.

However, the pay by Invoice option, while it is marked as incomplete (with PDF downloaded), does seem to also be counting against the total number of available spaces. That is not supposed to happen, right?

          Please advise.

          Thank you.

Quick update: The pay by Invoice option with an Incomplete status has corrected itself and no longer reduces the available spaces count. Great.

I am still interested to know if the ACH (bank-to-bank) payment method that Intuit is known for can also be made available as a payment option from within Event Espresso.

            Please advise.

            Hi Ronald,

Good to hear that the invoice is working correctly now, and to clarify only Completed or Pending statuses should change the available spaces.

Regarding Quickbooks, we are not currently looking to change the gateway to include the ACH aspect, I can certainly put it on our feature request list, but all major and most minor features are on hold while we focus our attention and finite resources on Event Espresso 4.
