new template for list of events and their schortcode

I created a new template for list of events and their schortcode: “event_list_display_nl.php” and “EVENT_LIST_NL” in order to change the CSS. What still needs to be done to make it work?

Hi,

Unless you are wanting the default event_list shortcode to run alongside your new one, then I would suggest instead of trying to create a whole new shortcode, copy the event list.php and event_list_display.php to wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates and just edit those there.

If you absolutely need this as a new shortcode, then you will need to start looking at the required functions, for example event_espresso_get_event_details (espresso.php, event_list.php), and find out the relations to the template.

Hi Sergio,

A simpler approach might be to use the CSS parameter in the [EVENT_LIST] template. So for your NL event page you can use a shortcode like this:

[EVENT_LIST css_class=nl]

which will add the nl class to the div wrapper around each event.
