Hi I have 3 questions.

1: I’ve changed my domain name in http://www(dot)speeddaten4love(dot)nl, please reset the license key

2: I followed the instructions described in a topic on this forum ( http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/how-to-change-eur-to-e/ ) to change the EUR to €. I changed to USA in general settings. Then I changed the EUR to €. After that I changed back again to The Netherlands again. I didn’t manage to get the € working instead of EUR so I placed the EUR back in /organization_config.php

3: After I did what I described above in step 2 all of my setting in ‘General’ are gone.
In the every field (like: organization name etc.) there is a dollar sign like $.
When I select my country and fill in Organization name etc. and save the setting everything jumps back to $.

I removed event espresso and reinstalled it again to start with the default settings but still I see $ and 1 event I created.

Before I changed the EUR to $ everything worked just fine. Is there a way to reset the setting to default of event espresso? What can I do else ?

Thanx

I am using:
– wordpress version 3.5.1,
– Event Espresso 3.1.30.7,
– Social Media v1.1.4
– Events Calendar v2.0.4

I found it is the Dollar sign in organization_config.php that appears everywhere in general setting (see below, the dollar sign at the bottom) When I removed that dollar sign in organization_config.php it didn’t appear in general settings anymore.

I still can’t save anything, when I make a change in general settings, the dollar sign show up again.

            break;
        case 'THA' : $org_options['currency_symbol'] = 'THB'; // Thai Baht (hex code: ?)
            break;
        case 'AUT' || 'BEL' || 'CYP' || 'EST' || 'FIN' || 'FRA' || 'DEU' || 'GRC' || 'IRL' || 'ITA' || 'LUX' || 'MLT' || 'NLD' || 'PRT' || 'SVK' || 'SVN' || 'ESP' || 'AND' || 'MCO' || 'SMR' || 'VAT' | 'MYT' || 'MNE' || 'XKV' || 'SPM' : $org_options['currency_symbol'] = 'EUR'; // use the Euro for all eurozone countries
            break;
        default: $org_options['currency_symbol'] = '$';

break;

Below is are some example screenshots from my General Settings.

Hello,

This has happened to me previously on testing servers whilst attempting something similar. Unfortunately the only way I found to bring the data back was to wipe the database and reinstall.

Now I don’t know if you attempted this change on a live server but if so I would revert back to a backup of your database.

Thanx for the reply,

Do you know a Working solution for the € sign ? (in stead of the EUR)

Thanx
