I set up a promo code based on what we want, which is basically:
Promo code 1 – Full Conference Pass for only $75 (the full price is $345)
Promo code 2 – Exhibition Only Pass for only $65 (the full price is $100).
The problem is that I can only set global discount codes. So there’s nothing preventing someone from using the above promo codes as discounts for other ticket options — which we don’t want.
Is there any way to restrict the promo codes to one ticket type? I can handle a coding change as long as it’s not too intricate with the PHP.
The simplest way to set this up would be to offer the two pass options as separate events. This way the discount code can be applied to the specific ticket type. Event Espresso doesn’t have support for ticket type specific promo codes at this time.
