Hi,

I wonder if you can help me figuring out how to be able to pay 2 types of event pricing one time? Here’s the registration page to purchase the event ticket:
http://thepaintfactorymn.com/event-registration/?ee=4

Is it possible for the customers to buy the adult ticket + children ticket at the same time? Currently the way it’s set up, customers can buy the adult ticket first, pay via paypal (my chosen payment method for this site) and go back to the registration page again o buy the children ticket. Is there any way to not have this? I would like the customers to be able to pay both types of tickets one time.

Thank you!

Hi,

The Multiple Event Registration (MER) add on can solve this for you. MER allows your customers to add the event to a cart system. In the cart they can choose the number of tickets they want for each ticket type (e.g. 1 adult and 2 kids).

Hi Dean,

Thank you for the pointers! I think I’m going to use this shortcode [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”14″ anchor=”Register for This Event”] and add it to either the registration page or a post page (with the registration short code in it). One more thing I’d like to ask. Is it possible to change the anchor from just a text (in the example above, Register for This Event) to a clickable button (of my own)? If yes, can you please let me know the shortcode?

Thank you!

Hi,

Yes well there are two options.

1) Add an image as the anchor text [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”14″ anchor=”“]

Issue with that is that the View Cart link that appears wont be a button.

2) Use CSS to change the Add to Cart and View Cart links to images, either using pure CSS to change the padding, colour etc, or by linking in an actual image.

See here for one example http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/mer-add-to-cart-link-with-button/
