Hello,

when I first created my event, the page on which it was, allows users to select their tickets and register directly. Following one of the recent upgrades, it has disappeared. Now, the only thing visible is the event description, the actual tickets are not on this page anymore.

You can see the event there:
http://www.gildednights.com/events/gilded-nights-masquerade-winter-wrap-up/

We didn’t change anything, the shortcode is the same. I know there is a ticket shortcode, but I don’t want to use it, I’d rather see if this is broken or else?

Thanks!

When i create a new event and add a ticket type, it never saves with the event. When i hit update, i get redirected to post.php (blank page). Wonder is it the same issue?

I have the same issue except that when I try and register for my event and test the plugin, it redirects me to the Events Archive. Can someone help?!

@Riffard – The page looks ok to me, tickets can be selected. Registration form appears, etc.

@Donal and @WebKi – those issues is different to the original posters, please create a new thread and we will be happy to assist further. This will prevent this thread from getting confused. Thanks!

Hello Dean,

Thank you for the response.

The reason why it looks fine is because I added the shortcode for the tickets to the page because we couldn’t wait for a fix. I just removed it again, please try again and you may see what happens.

In short:

From event expression, I create an event with a description, datetimes, and tickets, etc…>>> I published it.

For awhile, I would go to the link it created and it would show me the event’s description with the tickets and registration button below.

Following 4.1.9 (I think), it changed everything, the description shows up but the tickets do not…

Please go on and have a look and you’ll see it:

Thanks, that helped.

Is it possible to get a list of all the plugins that you are using please? We have had a couple of reports of clashes with other plugins causing this to happen.

Further to that it might be a good idea to disable your plugins barring EE and see if it affects the issue.

If the ticket options come back we will know its a plugin and you can activate them one by one to try and narrow down the issue.

Hello Dean,

I think I found the culprit, it’s the WordPress SEO. I deactivated it for now…but obviously, it’s pretty useful for any up-and-coming blog to increase their SEO ranking…so please let me know if there is a fix or if you can recommend another EE4-approved SEO plugin.

Thanks.

Thanks Riffard, we are aware of that one and are currently looking into whether it is something we have done or WordPress SEO and how to resolve it.

Sorry I meant to add onto that that if you activate WordPress SEO and go to the Social options page and untick “Add Open Graph meta data” in the Facebook tab, it will stop the tickets from disappearing and also still provide the SEO benefits of the SEO plugin.

Hello Dean,

how will I be notified when it’s resolved or understood?

The Twitter “Add Twitter card meta data” also needs to be un-ticked. Sorry for the multiple posts.
