I am trying to set up an event where parents can purchase tickets for their children. We need to have the child’s information (name, age, bday, school grade) for each attendee. Is this possible with EE or do I need to cobble something together? Multiple suggestions are welcome.
I have a limited coding background. Have used Gravity Forms in the past. Would use this application to provide a ticket (with QR code in the ticketing add-on) for each child attending (parents attend for free and require no ticket per-se, but we could give ‘free’ parent tickets…love an idea for this too).
If you want tickets with QR codes you’ll want EE3. You can configure tickets for children, and I’d have the registration form ask for the parent’s name and contact information for each child. You can use Multiple Event Registration addon (http://staging.eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) if you want to allow them to purchase different types of tickets and/or allow individuals to register for multiple event registration.
Does that help?
