we are trying to implement an event management system that includes a seating chart and multiple (2 at the moment) prices, one for seniors and one for children. We would like to offer our visitors a chance to choose their price range and the seat. But I see that as soon as I assign a seating chart to a given event, the dropdown with the two prices disappears. How can I accomplish this?
According to the code this is meant to happen. I will refer to one of the developers and see if I can get a reason for it and potentially a workaround.
I’ve been experimenting with the Multiple Events Registration add-on, which could be a viable workaround for what I’m trying to accomplish. Would it be possible to combine MER with the Seating Chart add-on so that people can choose not just the number of seats but also WHERE to sit?
Thank you Dean. I would also like to ask you if a target release date for 3.2 has been announced or set. What I am trying to accomplish is apparently being implemented in this new version.
No date for release has been set for 3.2 as of yet. A lot of it is being fully rebuilt, so it may take some time yet.
