Hi, after looking at the forums, it was apparent that with s2member this might be possible but I can not figure this out :-(

Basically I have 2 member levels, standard and achiever

Non member tickets =£20 each time.

Standard = £25/year and half price tickets (so if they are a member they get the tickets for £10)

Achiever = £97/year and if the log in they just register as ticket would be £0

I can get it working for 1 level but not the second. How can I do this please so if they are a achiever it brings the price down to 0

thank you
J

Hi,

The S2Member addon currently only supports changing the level threshold of where membership discounts are given, not different discounts for each level.

e.g.

Level Free (non member)
Level 0
Level 1
Level 2

So if the S2Member setting is set at Level 1, then Level 1 and Level 2 will see the discounted price, Free and Level 0 will see the default non member price.

The plugin is still in Beta version – http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/s2member-integration/

Hi, so this plugin only lets you select which theshold level will get the reduced rate?

might there be another we we could do this? if they are a achiever member we just want them to register so we have a list of attendees,

thanks

You would need to modify the code of the member’s add-on in order to add a third tier of prices (making the events free). There are 7 places in member_functions.php where it checks whether the user is over the threshold. You would need to modify each of those places appropriately, so that instead of 2 outcomes, (user is under threshold, user is over threshold), there would be 3 outcomes, (user is under threshold, user is over threshold, user is premium member).
