Hi there,

We are looking for an alternative to regonline and Event Espresso seems like it might fit the bill.

We host events where we have a day of training, following by days where there is a 8 hours of one to one lessons that can be booked in 30 minute increments.

I am wondering if the multiple events can handle this kind of functionality. User would want to register and chose a full day of training, and then add as many one to one sessions as they like and then register and pay.

Quite unhelpfully you can’t read the documentation to find this information which seems rather odd to me since the multiple events add-on page links to the documentation.

Thanks in advance

Hi Tom,

Multiple Event Registration can probably handle that.

Adding multiple events to a cart is simple enough and once in the cart the registrant can select how many tickets they want for each event (likely one here).

there is the ability to set time slots, and so long as there is no group booking, you can also limit the timeslots so when one is sold out it is removed from the list.

The only place where it breaks down a little is when you said “and then add as many one to one sessions as they like”

This can be done, but requires more work from the admin, as you would need to create separate events for each 30 minute slot to enable them to add multiple time slots to the cart.

This is a screen shot of an example event with time slots (and limitation) active http://take.ms/7cEFH As you can see they can only select one time slot, which is why the multiple events would likely be necessary.

Please let me know if you need clarification or have any more questions.
