We recently purchased the business license and installed the EE3 package including the Multiple Event Add On. We are doing registration for a conference where a registrant can register self and family members. We have separate pricing for adults, youth, senior citizens etc. For each registered user in the group we would like to allow registrants to select whether they are adults, senior citizens etc. We are not able to figure out how to do this. Please help.

Hello,

Are you wanting to record this information for each registrant?

If so, a dropdown menu should work. Here is what the setup would look like:

Let me know if this helps!

That allows me to capture the information for each registrant. However I also want to apply the cost appropriately i.e. different prices for adults, senior citizens etc. How do I do that?

Hi,

In the event itself you can create multiple ticket types at various costs (Adult, Child, etc).

These will then display on the registration page/cart, allowing the user to select the appropriate ticket.

I have created multiple price categories as suggested. However there is one drop down box for the entire registration. The functionality I am looking for should allow each person in a single registration to be offered different ticket type based on the category (adult, student etc.)

Hi,

That functionality comes with the Multiple Event Registration add on (or EE4) which can be downloaded from your account page.

It adds a Cart functionality. If the user uses the cart they can select multiple numbers of the individual tickets.
