We are looking for an event tool to run registration for our classes. In many cases, parents have multiple children. Is it possible to have one parent register multiple children and somehow capture that information (Child names for each class)?
You can add new question fields to the registration forms. So in this case, you could add “Child’s Name” to the registration form and change the primary registrant name field to “Parent’s Name”. Event Espresso does set the Primary name to require an email address, so it would make sense to clarify this since the parent will most likely be getting the transactional emails that are sent.
Does this allow a Parent to register multiple children at once? Or would the parent need to make the first registration with one child – and then the second registration with the second child? And then where would you find this info after the registrations have been made?
Thank you for your assistance – the client is particular of the process, so we want to make sure we don;t make any promises we can’t keep.
If you allow group registrations when you setup the event, then the parent will be able to register all of the children at one time by clicking “Add more attendees”.
And then where would you find this info after the registrations have
been made?
You will then find the attendee information in the Event Overview area of Event Espresso in the WordPress dashboard.
