Just added the multi-event plugin but I’m not seeing anyway on front end to buy multiple ticket options, looks the same as before where they can select number of tickets for single event, then check out. Do I need to edit template so they can buy different ticket options? We have different price levels for events and they need to be able to buy some of each in one order. Latest versions of everything as of 2/5/14.

Hi Jon,

How are you today?

Are you using custom templates on your event list (https://www.hamiltonpa.org/event-registration/) because the Multiple Event Registration addon (http://staging.eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) is suppose to add an “Add to Cart” function on your event list, see the documentation: http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-event-registration-add-on/

Here are a couple examples, notice the ‘Add to ‘Cart links:

Can I send you a dev link to look at via email, I don’t want the link posted in the forum.

Hi Jon,

Currently the official version of the Calendar does not display cart links within the the calendar itself (although you can display them within the event description which will be displayed in the calendar tooltips)

However there is a version of the Calendar available within the Pre-release channel which will display a cart image for you to add events to the cart from within the tooltip. For example http://d.pr/i/gIwl & http://d.pr/i/lMH4

This is the same version of the Calendar as release only it includes MER code. The reason it is within the pre-release channel is the styling may not be 100% yet with various themes. But if you would like to try that version and offer some feedback we will happily apply more styling if you encounter issues.

If you would like to try this version we have a guide available to enable the Pre-release channel on your account, available here:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/

It would appear you have added Cart links within the description so can now also add events to the cart from there, is that correct?

How can I only show one form no matter how many different tickets they want to buy?

Unfortunately this a limitation with the current system in that each ticket type requires personal information at least once. You can purchase multiple tickets and/or multiple types, but each ticket type requires the form to be filled at least once. We are working on improving/removing this restriction on future versions of Event Espresso.
