Moving site to the root

Currently we do not have our site at root level, it’s in a testing folder.

Are there any precautions or a list of things we should do before we move it to keep our events/calendar from breaking?

Or will it be best to set everything up all over again?

Hi Gabriele,

It depends on how WordPress is installed now, and how you move it. The calendar will work if WordPress is installed in another folder than root.

I would recommend following the WordPress codex guide on moving WordPress:
