Move files from template folder to safe location

Hello,

In general i need to know if i can, move ANY file from the “template” folder found under “Event Espresso” which is found under plugins.

A briew view of what that folder “template” have for content is:
– shopping_card.php
– registration_page_display.php
– return_payment.php
– and a good bunch more

I made HTML modifications to many of them, and honestly i would be super happy if it where possible to basically place all those files to: wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/

The reason: When the plugin gets an update, it wont be affected.

Can i move ANY file from the “template” directory to wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/?

Hi,

Yes you can, but COPY them don’t move them.

Also it is advisable to only copy the default files and edit them in the uploads/templates section so that you can revert to a default file if something goes wrong.

Also it is advisable only to copy the file which you intend to modify straight away.
