On my Calendar page <http://usosandi.nextmp.net/calendar/> the calendar itself is not showing. See code below:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”true”]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”001″]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”001″ show_expired=”true”]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”002″]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”002″ show_expired=”true”]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”003″]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”003″ show_expired=”true”]
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=”basicWeek”]

I can’t seem to get it to show the part of the calendar that would be most useful. I get the buttons for changing the view (back and forward, month/week/day) but not the grid itself.

I tried decreasing the height of the calendar from the Calendar Settings page <http://usosandi.nextmp.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_calendar>
which didn’t work. I thought maybe the space available was too small for it to load. Not the case.

I added categories and made sure their ids were included in the code on the calendar page. I also categorized the two events we have in the system at present.

Hi John,

It looks like you need to update to a newer version of Event Espresso and the Calendar add-on since you’ve updated WordPress to version 3.5.1.

Please see this post for more information about the update:

On the plugins page I get no indication that there is an update for Event Espresso. The version that it says we are running is 3.2.A.1 which seems to be slightly suspect given that on the EE site they list the most recent version as being 3.1.31.1.P

Hi John,

I checked your site and what you have is Event Espresso Version 3.2.4079 which was a development build that wasn’t officially released. It is actually a much older version than what’s available in 3.1.31.1. I’m not sure how or why you’d have that version as it wasn’t available to the public. The auto update scripts were not included in Event Espresso 3.2.a because it’s a developer version and not intended to run on a production site.

You should still be able to download the new version of the calendar, delete the old one, and install the new one via the WordPress plugin manager.

Thanks for the help, Josh. That did it.
