Just upgraded to latest version and testing app – and it is stuck spinning when looking for attendees. Is there a new service file I need to upload? I can see all my past attendees but not new ones under new event?  Thanks!

Hi Jomo,

Are you using the Android or iOS mobile app? Do you have the API or ticketing services installed?

I am using ios.  I think I installed those a year ago – as it it has always worked until I recently upgraded EE and iPhone app.  Is there newer API files I need to install?

Yes there are newer files. If you’re using the older (non-HD) app, you can download the new API files from the ticketing app’s documentation page:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-ticketing/

If you are using the newer Event Espresso HD app its API can be downloaded from your account page. It’s labeled: JSON API v2.0. The new API gets installed as a WordPress plugin.

ah ha! thanks!

what is the difference between HD and non-HD? you recommend one over the other?

The HD app will run on an iPad or an iPhone. It’s a newer app so it doesn’t have all the features that we plan on adding to it, but it works well. I’d recommend trying them both out to see if one works better for your use case.
