I am having some serious problems with Event Espresso. When someone registers on our site and then decides to immediately register someone else it does the following:
1. Send Person A and emails saying they have registered
2. If I were to quickly look at the attendees I will see Person A
3. Registering Person B will send Person B an email as well
4. The attendee list will only have Person B in the list
Please help as this issue has really caused issues with our current event. It does not look good from our side as an organization.
What is happening is that they are not completing the registration (i.e. they havent paid, or been sent to the Thank You page). As such their “session” is still active.
The confirmation page doesnt close the session off, it needs to be the Thank you Page (or the cancelled registration page). The thank you page comes after the confirmation page.
The hotfix that was released on Saturday includes some additions to the payment page that will warn users to not hit the back button in order to avoid having their registration overwritten.
