Using EE Version 3.1.28.2.P on a Production Site and concerned about upgrading and creating problems that I cannot fix quickly.
Problem on current system with sporadic registrants missing in Attendee List.
Event Manager gets the short email that someone registered for our events
When checking the Attendee List, registrant is not there!
There is no contact info in the Event Manager email so we cannot contact them to see what is wrong
This has happened at least 12 times already.
Can you please advise?
Thanks
Please update Event Espresso. There were some issues with that version and the attendee database which have since been fixed. There is no work around for the issues, it requires an update.
Dean, thanks for replying although I was hoping not to mess with the system right now.
TWO QUESTIONS:
1. Can I find someplace in the system, any details (even an email address) of the missing attendee info. The email that was sent to them would be very helpful.
2. Does the new EE release REQUIRE WP 35. or will it be ok with the latest WP release before 3.5
The main issue was that it was deleting attendees mainly when an attendee payment details were edited, but there could be other areas where it ocurred. These were deleted from the database with no hope of restoration without a recent backup.
EE 3.1.29.1 will work fine with WP 3.4.2, we havent tested it on any WP versions prior to that.
