The Event Espresso menu item suddenly disappeared from the main nav bar today. Is there a way to make it show up again?

Here are a few things yo can check:

1) Verify Event Espresso is activated

2) If you have any plugins that alter user roles and permissions or the WordPress admin menu system, try disabling/re-configuring these if they have features that remove menus for selected user roles. Event Espresso’s roles and permissions plugin has this functionality, so that would be a good one to check first.

I can’t figure it out. I recently installed JetPack. But, when deactivated, the menu didn’t reappear. I even completely uninstalled EE, then reinstalled it. Still no menu.

Any other thoughts on what may be the problem?

Isaac,

I found the problem is with the Mailjet For WordPress plugin. While it is deactivated, the Event Espresso menu item appears. Activated, it does not appear. Did you just update this plugin? I noticed in the plugin directory, that an update was made on 10/10/2012. You might contact the developer of the plugin and let them know it is interfering with other plugins.

Also, I left the plugin deactivated for now.

Let us know if we can help you further.
