This can happen if the form validation isn’t working and they didn’t enter a name on the registration form. Which could even be a bot. Is re-capthcha set up on the registration form page?
The name that showed in the exported data is someone I recognize, so I don’t believe it’s a bot. We do not use re-capthcha. Why would all the other registration forms validate, but not this one?
If the name showed up in the export for the same registration record then it wouldn’t be a validation issue then. But to answer your question, if someone has JavaScript turned off in their browser that will turn off the validation.
The other possibility here is an earlier attendee record was deleted from the events_attendee table but the corresponding record in the events_answer table did not get deleted. I’m not sure how this would happen without direct manipulation of the database.
If you are aware of the attendee, would it be possible to get them to go to this site, with the browser they used to register and send the details to you/us? http://supportdetails.com/
Its free and takes less than a minute. It might help us see if it is a javascript issue.
