http://hulafit.net/event-registration/?regevent_action=register&event_id=104

Registration for this event is closed, however with the MER shortcode there’s nothing to stop a person from attempting to register. How can I prevent people from adding closed registration events to their cart?

Also, where can I change the button text “Confirm and go to payments page’ that exists on the middle page between the cart and confirmation?

I believe we have fixed the problem with being able to add closed events to the cart in the latest version.

You should be able to change the confirmation page text from within the event-espresso/templates/confirmation_display.php file.

Thank you for the reply.

I’m looking through confirmation_display.php and I see buttons with the text ‘Confirm Registration’ but none with ‘Confirm and go to payment page’.

That’s the specific html output I’m hoping to fix. Are you sure thats in confirmation_display.php?

For the confirmation button text for the Multi Event Registration form, look in cart.php around line 588.

I would recommend creating an English to English translation using Poedit, though. That way you don’t need to change core functions. Basically, you’d open up /languages/event_espresso-en_US.po in poedit, do a search for the strings you want to change. Make the changes, save, and upload the new .po and .mo files to the /languages directory of the plugin.

That worked. Thank you!
